Description
General part information
BWR-15 Series
The BWR series 5W board-mount miniature DC/DC Converter specifically designed for todays demanding distributed power architectures. The migration to distributed power is accelerating. The critical need for accurate voltages, tight regulation and rapid transient response is propelling the move to power processing at the point-of-use with low-power device physically located right at its loads. It is with full 5W output capability give system architects unprecedented design and layout flexibility. Occupying less than 0.5in³ total volume, this extremely compact, fully regulated and isolated module is available with ±5/±12/±15V outputs. Input voltage ranges are either 18 to 36 or 36 to 72V. Although its overall size is 50 to 75% smaller than many similarly rated power modules. It achieves its small size by exploiting novel feedback approach that does not depend upon traditional optocoupler techniques.
