Description

General part information

SMDA15 Series

The SMDAxxC series bidirectional TVS Array used for protection of four lines. It is designed to provide protection for sensitive electronics from damage or latch-up due to ESD, lightning and other voltage-induced transient events. It is available with operating voltages of 5, 12, 15 and 24V. It is solid-state device designed specifically for transient suppression. It offers desirable characteristics for board level protection including fast response time, low operating and clamping voltage and no device degradation. The device is suitable protection for sensitive semiconductors components such as microprocessors, ASICs, transceivers, transducers and CMOS memory. It is used to meet the ESD immunity requirements of IEC 61000-4-2, level 4 for air and contact discharge.
