General part information

LNK3604 Series

LinkSwitch™-XT2 energy efficient, low power off-line switcher IC with integrated system level protection incorporates a 725V power MOSFET, oscillator, simple ON/OFF control scheme, a high-voltage switched current source, frequency jittering, cycle-by-cycle current limit and thermal shutdown circuitry onto a monolithic IC. The start-up and operating power are derived directly from the DRAIN pin, eliminating the need for a bias winding and associated circuitry. No-load consumption is <lt/>100mW without bias winding at 265VAC input (<lt/>10mW with bias winding). Easily meets all global energy efficiency regulations Applications includes flyback converters, supplies for appliances, industrial systems and metering.
